November 18, 2020.

So, it's time to discuss something that I've been getting asked a lot as of late.

"Are you going to make another DoubleZWWE YouTube channel?"

No.

I know, BOD22 and AttitudePOP have returned, but people need to understand why I'm not comfortable in returning with another WWE-style channel. When DoubleZWWE was terminated in April due to MarkScan Enforcement, I lost my 2 other primary channels alongside it the next day. Losing 3 channels in less than 24 hours is not fun, at all. That means I've lost 7 channels since August of 2012.

That memory of losing my channels earlier this year is still bothering the shit out of me, as it would to anyone else in my situation. If you lost a channel with over 1 million subscribers, as well as a personal channel and gaming channel that you've worked very hard for over the last 7-8 years, you'd be unhappy as well.

I know that other channels have returned to posting WWE content onto YouTube, but I still don't trust either the website or MarkScan Enforcement. How do I know that I won't get targeted by MarkScan Enforcement again shortly after making a new channel? That company took everything away from me and it still hurts to this day. The company will easily come for me again and YouTube won't do anything about it.

If I was guaranteed that MarkScan Enforcement will stay away from YouTube forever and I wouldn't have history repeat itself, I'd easily make another DoubleZWWE channel. That channel was the biggest one I've had out of the boatload of channels I've gone through since 2010. But the issue still stands, MarkScan Enforcement is still around.

I've had so many people contact me since this all began, telling me about their channels being shutdown due to the company. The most recent example being Sablelicious. All he posted (for the most part) were 14-15 second clips to link people to full matches/segments on Dailymotion, yet he got terminated by them.

I admit, I was having thoughts as of late (before Sablelicious lost his channel) about making a return either next month or January, but this recent situation has completely kept me away. Starting over with another channel might be easy to some, but it's not easy to me when I've had to do that SO many times. I lost so many videos from my original TheDoubleZTV channel when it was shutdown on April 6 and I was lucky to have 99% of my gaming channel's videos backed up (as well as a good amount of my TheDoubleZTV channel's videos), I just can't go through this again without losing more of my sanity.

If anyone wants WWE content, simply checkout my Dailymotion channel. Just search for DoubleZWWE on Dailymotion, I upload there whenever I find the time to post on there. YouTube isn't a safe platform to be on anymore, the site isn't as trustworthy/free as it once was. Back in the day, you could broadcast yourself. Nowadays, you walk on eggshells just to make sure you don't get a strike for any reason because the platform looks for any reason to shut channels down.

Like I said earlier, I'd return if I was guaranteed that MarkScan Enforcement won't come after me again, but I don't trust that company one bit. They're still around and I know they'll strike again. I just wish those cowards at that company would explain themselves after the emails I've sent them this year.

October 2, 2020.

So, it's been a while since I've posted here upon my website. The last 6 months have been pretty rough, which is pointing out the obvious.

Despite the 4 emails sent to MarkScan Enforcement since this whole debacle began, I haven't heard a word from the organization regarding what they've been doing since April. Many others have lost their channels as well since then, including Monsoon Classic. This termination was truly shocking, as this shows that the channels being terminated wasn't about WWE Network quality footage being posted to YouTube, they're going after anyone. I've even gotten two confirmed reports on Twitter that the company has taken videos down on there as well, which is getting ridiculous.

I had to block YouTube's email address several months back, due to the ongoing emails they've sent my way to constantly remind me that my channel is gone and that I've received a total of 22 strikes through MSE. I'm still not convinced that this action is being done as a total wipeout of channels to preserve WWE's IP, it's more of a hit piece to just see channels fall. If this was really about saving WWE's IP, many channels would be wiped out on a daily basis like with what WWE did starting in September 2012. Instead, the company just mass strikes a specific channel before then moving on to another.

I noticed that something was odd, as every strike was issued to recent videos on the channel, rather than random ones or even the channel's most viewed videos. They were mass striking channels to ensure they'd be terminated, which is how channels are getting a lot of strikes. WWE themselves never issued more than 3 strikes to any channels I've lost in the past, so MSE is doing they can to make sure a channel is gone by giving as many strikes as they feel like to make sure the channel owner can't fight back.

Due to this chaos still going on, I can't return to YouTube with that kind of content. However, I'm still on Dailymotion and am being as active as I can be with posting WWE content. As of now, I'm still backing up every video I've either successfully or unsuccessfully posted on YouTube to Dailymotion as time goes on. Something that I'm still surprised by is that my Dailymotion channel has been safe during all of this, even after 5 years of having that account.

I'm also testing things out on Bitchute as a side option to see how things are regarding WWE content on that website, so I'll try to keep posts coming about that as we go along.

April 5, 2020.

I'm not sure who will read this, but I'm making this blog post in case anyone who follows my DoubleZWWE channel needs updates of any kind. Everything will be explained here, since you all deserve to be informed about things involving the channel.

As of today, April 5, 2020, DoubleZWWE has been wrongfully terminated. Around 6:40 p.m. EST, I started receiving emails that a company in India, known as MarkScan Enforcement, was issuing copyright strikes to videos on the channel. The issue here is that this company doesn't own any copyrighted material in the videos posted to the channel. The only companies that do are WWE (who owns the wrestling footage) and whatever company owns the music used in the last 20 seconds of the videos.

I have personally emailed this company through their listed Contact Email that I obtained due to the strikes, but haven't been replied to yet. But the fun didn't end there. Before 9 p.m. EST, I received numerous emails that more videos were being removed and my channel was terminated. In all, I've lost a boatload of videos and was issued 12 copyright strikes. 1.2 million subscribers, more videos and views than I can count, 7 years of work and nonstop uploads, gone without explanation.

This was something I never thought would take place in my wildest nightmares, but I'm beyond livid. I'm doing everything in my power to dispute every claim and contact everyone that I can to get this fixed. I can't let something like this cause a channel of that size to go down like this. It was one thing for WWE to take down 4 of my channels within 6 months many years ago, but this was uncalled for and can't be explained.

Please keep your fingers crossed that this whole thing gets resolved, I don't want this to be the end of my channel. I've put so much time into a channel like this because I've loved doing this. Even though I wasn't earning money off the videos, I was still keeping the channel going. I loved seeing those comments people left, thanking me for keeping the channel as active as having 2 daily videos. Thanking me for posting content they wanted to see in HD quality. Thanking me for posting videos that brought them nostalgia. You don't upload to YouTube that consistently, for free, unless you've truly got passion.

If the channel, for whatever reason, isn't restored, I'm not sure what I'll do. I'm not sure if I'll open yet ANOTHER channel (I've already been through more channels than I can count since 2010), since rebuilding a channel of that size would be the biggest struggle that I can imagine on a platform like YouTube.
